Based on the best-seller novel Eu, Carolina, a story of a simple girl and a powerfull football President. In Portugal, a ring of corruption, involving politicians and local government, operates from the invincible territory of football. The system is based on favours. It is a web of accomplices. Sports managers, local mayors, dignitaries of State, journalists, policemen, judges and magistrates back each other up. Dissenting voices are silenced and kept out of the way.
